The Challenge
Lola runs Leauxla Media, a lifestyle content and social media agency. Her website needed to serve two audiences: locals looking for DMV event recommendations and brands interested in hiring her.
The Old Experience
Lola's online presence was split between a Canva website for clients and a Google Doc for curated DMV events, with no connection between the two.

Canva Site
Hard to find — limited control over metadata and searchable content.
Not mobile optimized — despite most traffic coming from social (Mobile was just a scaled-down version of desktop)
Weak information & visual hierarchy — no clear path guiding a visitor toward a next step
Events Google Doc:
Not discoverable — event guides couldn't be found through Google Search.
Disconnected experience — separate from the website with no consistent branding.
No content system — If recreated in Canva, every update would have required a manual rebuild.
The New Experience
I rebuilt the experience in Framer, replacing both Canva and the standalone Google Doc with one site that serves both audiences.
Cohesive — one connected system instead of two disconnected ones; followers and brands both land inside the same site, on the same design language
Search- and funnel-aware — real meta tags, alt text, and search-friendly copy, plus a structure that routes each audience toward its own next step (Lola's Event Guide for followers, Services/Contact for brands)
Sustainable workflow — a master collection sheet Lola updates herself, which imports directly into the CMS and is instantly styled, replacing a rebuild-from-scratch process if built in Canva
The Process
I started with discovery to understand both audiences and what each needed from the site. From there, I mapped the information architecture, designed the interface, and built the site in Framer with a flexible CMS that could support future event schedules. I also tested the experience across devices and trained Lola to manage the site herself.
